a memorable memoial weekend

following with the theme of being busy, memorial weekend was no chance to slow down. but, it's all good since it was filled with fun things. saturday afternoon me, amy, allison, grace and a couple other girls went to mrs. cortes' house for a BBQ. previously that day, i prepared for the BBQ by ridding my bike down to the grocery store and picking up the necessary ingredients for making a peaches and cream tart. yummy! the rest of the morning was spent baking and later going to the BBQ. it was fun...allison shocked us all with her ability to actually grill food since cortes couldn't figure it out (haha). on the not so shocking side, she also ate an entire half a fruit tart she brought and then the remains of mine. crazy girl! :)
we also eventually brought leah (mrs. cortes' step daughter) out of her shell a bit and got her to play with us.

i spent monday with amy, august and grace, as we all rode bikes down to seal beach. it was a blast! definitely have to do that again sometime.
