creatures of the night...

it was just past midnight and the house was completely dark, with everyone asleep, except justin and i, who were in the back hot tub. we kept hearing a rustling in the tree above us and each time we would try and find the creature making the noise, we would only see leaves moving. justin then forced me to climb from the warm comfortable environment of the hot tub, into the freezing air to go get a flash light. if i had not complied, it would have resulted with me in the even more freezing pool. after i had obtained the flashlight from the garage, we spent the next 10 mins looking for the creature (don't hate because we are easily amused). every time we would see the branches moving, we would quick turn the light on, but each time saw nothing. dun dun dun! i said the creature had supernatural powers, but justin's theory was something along the lines of it being a little flesh eating monster, that was simply waiting to jump on one of our face's and begin devouring us. he said that he hoped it chose to attack me, because he, being the masculine and daring man he is, would hit it with the flashlight and wrestle it to the ground, thus saving my life. i apparently, being the incompetent female i am, would simply go into hysterics and then both we would both perish if the monster decided to attack him. i think that statement earned justy a good sock in the stomach. :) what was more, if we hadn't shined the light on us the creature probably wouldn't have attacked in the first place, but alas, curiosity kills.

yeah, i don't even know how we come up with this stuff...it was late. luckily we didn't get attacked by any supernatural flesh eating monsters of the night and then returned to the house around 1am, only to stay up another hour and a half watching the office.

in the morning (monday morning) gary made me make breakfast, which i didn't mind, except that i only got around 5 hrs of sleep. then what was more, gary had me bring justin breakfast in bed...ridiculous, i tell ya!

oh, and don't even ask me what he does to deserve this treatment...i have no clue

well, tomorrow i will be going up to Westmont and while i'm there i will be playing some tennis for the coach up there. wish me luck!

hope everyone is having a good week and had a better day than i did today!
