pictures from montana!

i think montana is one of the most beautiful places i've been to. this was my second time there, but this time i think i was able to enjoy it more than when i was younger. it truly is a place where you can just feel God's presence around you...it is just awesome!

a mama horse and her baby....so cute! :)

we went horse back ridding up one of the mountains and this is what we saw....it was beautiful!

betsy, me and my mom on our horses at the top of the mountain we rode up. my horse's name was mike.

this is part of the Gallatin River (the river that we rafted). we didn't raft on this part because this was too shallow.
us in our rafting gear! katie didn't go; she just got in the picture. :) river rafting was pretty cool. the water was a nice 50 degrees! we have some pictures that the place takes of you when your in the boat (kinda like on splash mountain at disneyland) but we have to wait for the company to send them to us...maybe i'll post those pics when they come in the mail. but, back to the rafting part. aside from the temperature of the water, which wasn't horrible once you got in, it was a blast. we got caught in a rain storm with thunder and lighting...awesome! fun time!
me, katie and betsy hangin out by the river! :)
well, i was kinda bummed that we didn't make it to yellowstone...i would have really loved to see it again, probably because i could have appreciated it better now than when i was 12. we were planning to go, but due to the unexpected circumstances we didn't make it. one exciting thing about it though; my step dad is talking about going back in a couple of months to stay in yellowstone! and if not to yellowstone, we might go to zion...no complaints there! i love going to national parks! :) goodness i have traveled so much this year! absolutely love it!
that's all for now! maybe i'll post a video or two later.

Montana IS beautiful, and thank you for saying so. That's where I picked to live for my Econ Life Project, and EVERYONE laughed at me. :(

But I moved to Bozeman, which is exactly where you were. We always drive along the Gallatin river when we are up visiting my Great Grandpa in Bozeman.

Your post made me homesick for Montana. :(
