so my first time to the getty.... i thought it was definatly one of the better art museums i have been to. my friend, cristina, and i went so we could do our museum visit project for photography. oh, a recomendation: bring a jacket!! since i forgot mine and all her's were being washed neither of us had one, and paid dearly for it.....it was freeeeeeezzzzzzzing. it is especially not good when you must stand in a really long line for a shuttle bus to take you up and down the hill.....
anyway we went into the photography exhibit called "where we live" it had some really cool photographs in the collection. they were just fun to look at and think about what the photographer was trying to capture. after, we went to the cafe to get lunch which, as expected at a museum that doesnt charge admissoin fees, was on the expensive side. i mean who charges $8 for a bowl of spaghetti? well it could have been worse i guess. after i got home though, exhaustion hit me. i was soooo tired that i acctually took a nap....which is weird for me. i never take naps! ever! yeah so now fun's over, i have to acctually go write the paper on the museum now.....ug!

i always hated doing those museum visits... they seemed pointless.
that's so weird!! when i went on my museum visit last time, i didn't have a jacket, either!! crazy...
i took a nap today for like... 4 hours.. =P and i didn't even stay up that late...
i hate those museum visits too! i think that everyone should only have to do one! but bc i took graphic arts, drawing, and ceramics- i have to do at least three!!!!
