ouch! i finally made it.

so i finally made it to track today for the fist time, and i hurt all over. it probably didn't help that i went and played tennis afterwards either. :) yep yep. my legs feel like blocks of lead. not to mention when you do this "routine" lets call it, you feel like a complete idiot....i think i have now proven i have no coordination. (cilorf nac i! ha ha) i'm super tired. so, if you see me clutching desks for support or falling over in the hallways tomorrow....you'll know why. oh, and look at this thing....

it's a giant cookie monster pez dispenser...cool huh? bet you all with you had one. oh, and want to know the best part? it plays the sesame street song! how fun is that!?

track is seriously against me

so i'm finally legal! yay! i got my green card from the office yesterday so that i could go condition today...but no. i get in there and was half way changed when mrs. hogan comes in and announces that track is canceled today due to the rain. i was thinking "what? they never cancel track...ever." it was so unexpected. so i had to call mi madre to come pick me up and then wait an eternity(okay that is a bit of an exaggeration) for her to get there since she was at the grocery store. well, it wasn't too bad. at least i wasn't alone! :) hum? i wonder if i ever will condition? probably not.
oh, but it did rain today and during the daytime too! i was excited but it needs to keep raining now! :)

off to a good start!

so first day of the new semester! it acctually wasn't as bad as i thought it would be...well, it really wansn't bad at all except for the fact that it did seem like the longest day of this school year so far. i'm really excited to have new classes, new teachers, and also get some people in my classes that i don't really talk to anymore.....speaking of people i dont talk to anymore, i stopped by jamba juice after school today and it compleatly made my day (possibly even my week). not getting the jamba juice part, although that was good also, but i saw an old friend there that i hadn't sceen since the end of 7th grade.....so like three years ago....wow! has it only been three years since i graduated 7th grade? ....gee how time flys, huh? anyway i havent talked to her or sceen her since she left valley and it was really cool just to see her again. we talked for a while and then exchanged e-mail so i hope i can get in touch with her again.

seeing her really made me start thinking about keeping in touch with all my friends. i mean will we really ever get to gether, hang out, or stay in touch after high school?....i certainly hope so, but who knows. i know i'm only a sophmore and have some time until i have to think about leaving and all, but i will miss my senior pals at the end of this semester and then my junior ones the year after....alas, time sometimes goes by too fast.

hey everybody! so so so.....new semester tomorrow!!! yeah!!! i'm excited! well not exactly for school just for a new start, new teachers, new grades. yep well today was pretty eventful. i decided i would go bowling with my cousins. except surprisingly enough bowling allys are scarce now days. we drove to three different ones today....well i shouldn't say they are scarce because the last one only had four lanes open to the public and 16 groups in line for them. the first two places had been killed (my word for torn down). so yeah, no bowling. bummer huh? so we decided to check out ice skating....no such luck. we ended up just going to jamba juice and hanging out, which was fun too. oh and some other good news: we finally took down our chritmas decorations yesterday! yep we seriously have three months of christmas around my house. we put them up like november 1st and they don't come down till the end of january.....so anytime anyone is feeling like they need a little christmas spirit between the months of november and january, come on over to my house. plus you'd get to see me which totally is incentive enough right? ha ha just kidding!

from western museums to crashing dances

first of all i don't know if any of you down here in the long beach area experienced any rain, but up in L.A. i got a full day of it! yippy! it rained all day up there. anyway, what was i doing in L.A. you ask? well, i went to the jean autry museum, which was right across the street from the L.A. zoo. i went with my family; my anut and uncle, my grandpa, my cousins kathlyn, justin, and kristi, and kristi's boy friend. well, we know that two of us for sure enjoyed the museum. my grandpa and uncle. it wasn't actually that bad, it just got a little old after 2 floors and 3hrs. of cowboy stuff. i think the most amusing part was when my cousin kristi (who is 22, totally mature right?) dragged me into the children's center and put a little dress up jacket on me which was the size that a 4 year old would wear. i got stuck in it. justin and kathlyn had to come pull me out, and that took a good 3-4 min. meanwhile the same security guard walked by three times laughing at me. too bad i didn't have my camera. it was quite a funny sight i have to admit. ooo we also ate lunch at this place called phillipe's (sp?) which is famous for there french dipped sandwiches. they were soooo yummy!

but yeah that's what i did today! fun stuff hangin out with the fam.


oh, this may not be as funny hearing this over the computer or if you don't know my family, but my step sisters winter formal is tonight. well my step dad was like "danielle do you want to go?" i was like "what? why in the world would i want to go to winter formal at a school that i don't know anyone when i don't really like dances in the first place?" he goes" so you can check up on betsy (my step sister) and embarrass her a little." i was like hey cool but kinda random. he goes "yeah you and justin (my cousin) should go disguise yourselves and check it out" i totally got this mental image of us getting all dressed up, putting on sunglasses like we were undercover, sneaking in to wilson's winter formal, and totally crashing it. i think he was kidding though, but you never know with him. but, i wouldn't actually ever do something like that...well at least not crash it, just go embarrass her a little.... i mean what are siblings for? :)

i went cpk and goldenspoon with laney and julie today. fun fun! when we were on our way back to my house we pulled up the light and some weird-looking guy in a truck pulls up next to us, which i didn't notice. i was doing an impression of julie being a bug which consisted of me waving my hands in a manner that could have been taken as "waving". right as i did the guy in the white truck looked over and stared at me like i was crazy. julie goes, jokingly "great now he's going to stalk us". i was thinking i hope not. we pulled ahead and then got into the right lane, a white truck got into the right lane behind us. laney goes "uh, guys he's following us." we turned the corner, the truck turned the corner behind us. uh seriously not good. i was totally freaking out and began praying. we stopped at the light at 7th street and waited. then 5 seconds later the same white truck pulls up behind us and since we were trying to avoid eye contact we (mostly me) began hyperventilating again. then laney goes "wait, isn't that him over there?" julie and i turned and she pointed to the guy in the first white truck (the one who thought i was waving) 2 lanes over from us and after looking we turned around to see some lady/man (couldn't tell) sitting in the white truck behind us. we began cracking up and i was about to kill laney for telling me the guy was following us. i was seriously sooo relieved. after that the day was good. i taught julie how to play backgammon and i actually beat her. yep, i finally won a game of backgammon against someone. yeah! however she did cream me at ping pong. weird since i won last time. i also watched a walk to remember for the first time today. sad movie....yes julie i do have feelings! it was just slightly unrealistic. yep yep! i'm off. you know tomorrow is saturday!!! yippy! :)

okay so for anyone who didn't see me at school today (which i think most all of you that blog did) i donated my hair yesterday! 10 inches of it. here's a picture. (not a good one, but oh well)



yep yep. i really am loving it so far. my head is so much lighter!

so why was this such a big shocker you ask? well i have had my hair long since i was little....probably since i was like 5 or 6. so i figured i'd try something new, and instead of just cutting it shorter i decided to step out of my comfort zone a little and go ahead and cut 10 inches in order to donate it. :)

the only weird thing is when i touch in or brush it i'm like wait where's the rest of it. but i really like it for now!

on a just as happy note: WERE DONE WITH FINALS!!!!! yes i'm so excited and i think my geometry final went really well today. :) yes now we get to follow up with a three day weekend. have a fantastic weekend everybody!

on the move

it occurred to me today(not that it hasn't before) how much God has given me. i really thought about it and then how ungrateful i can seem at times. i wouldn't say i complain excessively but i do my fair share. i mean it doesn't make sense why spend my time dwelling on these "oh so awful things" that i wont even remember next week or even in a few days, when i could think about all the things God has blessed me with. especially a family that loves me and awesome friends! i think a goal that i am going to set for myself is to just be more positive and focus on all the things i do have instead of the ones i don't. :)

great she's on the move now we'll really have to keep a close eye on her....luckily we still have some time. she isn't that stable yet on her own.

but yep, what a cutie huh? it's so fun watching her grow up and learn something new everyday. i never thought having a baby sister could be such a learning experience for me. its fantastic! :)

yes! english final is over! i'm so glad except now i have to go study for historia y espanol...fun....not! oh well. it did feel really good to clean out all my english papers though. at least after tomorrow i get out at 10:00 yippy! man it just occurred to me how much i complain about going to school everyday, yet now i don't know what to do with myself. i should go study, but who wants to think after you take a final for 1 and 1/2 hrs? not me.

on another note our neighbors down the street got robbed this morning. kinda scary, cause that's only like six houses away from us. i feel bad for them.

also i'm really cold right now. i think i will go get a sweatshirt and i was going to say something else but now i cant think of it any more...bummer...hmmm? oh, well i'll post it later if it comes to me.

oh and help! i need somebody help. not just any body help i need someone to helpppp.....anyway does anyone want to explain the preterit tense to me for spanish...i don't get it! are you only supposed to change the endings of the verbs or what? i'm so confused...which isn't unusual but hey at least i've accepted it. right?

when the family is in town.....

so my cousin, justin, from utah just moved out here to play tennis for whitter collage. he is spending the weekend with us and last night we had a big family dinner...fun stuff. the food was delicious especially the home made carrot cake and cheese cake....speaking of cake, i owe justin a cake, two 20 min back massages, 2 bowls of ice cream, donuts and i have to come to his first tennis match of the season! confused? let me explain. after all the family left, we were bored, so we decided to play backgammon....not good (for me). that game is soooo addicting. we played 9 times! which the first two i won but the other seven i wasn't so lucky. after i had won the first two games justin was like lets bet (never money of course). so the first bet was if i won he would have to bake me a chocolate cake, and if he won i would have to get him a bowl of ice cream...well i lost 7 times! :( it was still really fun though. except now i owe him a bunch of stuff. okay, i don't really mind watching tennis so that one is fine, but he is making me get him donuts this morning. and since i don't drive i have to go ride my bike there. oh well i better get goin' cause he wants them before he wakes up....maybe i'll smash one in his face..he he!

i thought my blog could use a change but i don't really know what i want. its very blue at the moment. i cant decide if it looks slightly depressing or not. what do you guys think? any suggestions?

the end of another semester

wow! i cant believe first semester is already over. i mean today was the last time i will have bio with mr. tamminga, last ceramics class for the year and my last photography class... :( i am really excited for 2nd semester though. do any of you guys ever feel like you just need a clean slate and a fresh start again? because thats how i feel right now. i just want to start my grades over and want to be able to work harder. (i say that now, but ask me 2 months from now and i'm sure it will be a different answer). second semester should be interesting though. i don't have any electives so thats a bummer, however i do have p.e. which is exciting. i also will be finishing my driving classes soon and then be starting track season...fun fun (sarcasm). well, track is better than drivers training i have to admit, but never better than tennis! tennis rocks! well heres the weekend...too bad mine will be full of studying. oh well, it could be worse!

mi gato vive!

YEAH!!! she came out i put a dish of tuna there and she popped her little head out and crawled out! uggg! if school isn't stress enough now i have to worry about my cat being buried alive under our floor. what a day! :)

oh where oh where has my kitty gone. oh where oh where can she be?

it all started because were having work done on our steps. so on the second story of my house we have a entertainment/unused room with a big tv. that we dont use....dont ask. some of you may know it as the room without a couch since the room really isnt labled. anyway on with my story. (this story relates to my title i promise) we decided to finally finsh the two steps that lead up into the room, they just had carpet over them before. some guys came and ripped up the carpet and removed all the wood, which left a big opening leading to underneath the room. i suppose they left for lunch and left the opening uncovered.
so, i get home from school and can barely think because of all the pounding that they are doing. i noticed that my cat didn't come out and greet me like she normally does whenever i come home, but with all the noise i didn't think much of it.... i thought she was hiding. after the workers left and had dry walled everything it was quiet again. i left from 6:30 to 8:00 to go to my drivers lesson and when i came back i sat down to do my homework. i still hadn't scene my cat since this morning. as i begin working i keep hearing this faint little muffled "meow". i got up and started wandering around the house calling for her. i asked my mom if she heard anything or if she knew where my cat was. my mom told me she hadn't scene her all afternoon. by this time i was thinking "great. this is great. where can she be!?" i sat down at the top of our staircase and then hear another little meow. i start moving left (the direction it was coming from) and keep moving until i'm at the step up into the couch less room. i put my ear up to the stair and here a meow coming from the other side. "uh oh....not good!" i ran downstairs to get my step dad. he comes upstairs with a hammer power screw driver and a broom. you see he's not the best when it comes to stuff around the house.....not the handiest person i guess you could say. were all looking at him like "uh is this a good idea?" my mom step sister and i all back away and keep our distance (katie was already asleep). let me tell you it was scary. dry wall was flying everywhere! it's not everyday you encounter one of your parents destroying the inside of your house. right? after the dust had cleared and he had pounded through the dry wall, we see that there is a layer of wood. it was just screwed on. no big deal right? 20 screws later he gets it off only to find another thicker piece of wood underneath....ugg! so after getting that section off we find out that the opening is under the first stair and the rest is solid wood. but, the top of the stair is nailed in. first gary (my step dad) tries prying it off....nope. wont budge. next he tries to break it....no also. prying did create a small opening though that she could climb through. i sat there for 45 min shaking her toys, calling her, lowering treats....everything. nothing is luring her out....i'm actually not even completely positive she is under there...pretty sure though....i better hope since gary just destroyed our house. :} my poor kitty! she's scared and wont come out. :( the guys are coming back tomorrow so maybe they can pry up the stair and get her out if she doesn't come out before that. there's nothing else we can do....quite sad. i hope she can find her way out before tomorrow.
wow! what a day huh? other than my cat getting lost it was good!
i have to admit seeing my step dad hammering the wall was kinda funny. ha ha.

today totally felt like a monday

today didn't feel like tuesday at all. i guess that is a good thing since it make the week go by faster...wait i don't want it to go by faster.....finals!!!! i'm seriously going to fail my geometry final! i hate math! gosh i miss the days when all we did was 65+12 or 9-7 easy stuff like that...i didn't realize how good i had it. but yeah math has never been my strong point. i mean i'm not terrible at it, it just never has come easy for me. what really makes me mad is that i have an 89% in the class.....1% away from an A-! (which you know is sooooo much better than a B+. well kinda) i'm afraid though that the final wont boost my grade any. i can study all i want but then i go to take the test feeling ready and it all leaves my brain....uggg! okay enough complaining and procrastinating. i want to try and finish all my hw before i go play tennis....yippee there's something to be happy about!

oh, did i mention....i drove to school this morning!!! yeah!!! that was exciting! :)

a monday off is always welcome

fun day! yep yep. i mean with golden spoon tennis and chipotle how can you go wrong? so yeah my friend, julie, and i went to golden spoon then went and played tennis. ha ha i won! well not really, i almost won. i was up 5-1 but we decided to leave because they were trimming the trees behind the courts and dust was flying everywhere. if you know julie you'll know that she's allergic to almost everything. so we left to get chipotle....mmmm yummmy. after, we returned to my house where she was exposed to yet another one of her allergens. my cat. someone please explain to her, julie you don't touch things that your allergic to...they might shock you!.... yeah, somehow when she touched my cat they shocked each other. weird.
we went outside and played ping pong in the freezing cold...still soooo much fun! i did cream her at ping pong though. ha ha!
so that was my day off. yippee tuesday tomorrow fun stuff! kinda...well schools not all that bad just the homework and FINALS!!! yikes! only one more week till they start!

oh, i almost fell off a ladder today. i was picking tangerines off our tree in the backyard and the ladder wasn't really on even ground and i almost fell off.....random i know! :)

AHHHHH ANTS!!!!

so when i returned to my house this morning (like 30 min. ago) i discovered that we had ants on the march. they are sooooo gross. at least this time they aren't in my bathroom. :) they were all over the floor and counter tops by the washing machine. we don't even have food there. katie is really cute though, she points at them and sticks her tongue out and goes bla bla bla.
ewe i hate ants! there creepy! soooo yeah i just thought i would share that with everybody....i'm off to do more history homework....stupid history!

i really had a great day today. i woke up super early, but not tired. i felt totally fine, not sick or anything. and i finished all my ceramics projects! yeah!!! oh, and did i mention that i drove to school this morning?. it went really well. my mom didnt even panic or freak out or anything, which means i must have done okay! so i pretty much had an awsome day! plus, how can you go wrong with a friday leading up to a three day weekend...super cool. i'm so happy i could sing! ya know i think i will....yep i'm going to go sing a song.

i cant breath through my nose :0)

whaaaa...i hate being sick! (if i'm really sick?) my nose is red and hurts from blowing it so much, my head feels like its going to explode and worst of all i have sooooo much homework. sheesh, i mean we get back from christmas break with two weeks until finals and they just pile it all on....ug! oh, and i'm talking funny too, since i cant breath through my nose. good thing is though, i dont feel sick. my sinuses are just bothering me.....hopefully it will stay that way(well not my sinuses staying this way, just the not feeling sick part). maybe i just have a sinus infection...i dont know.....but i do know my mom keeps making me drink all this nasty tea stuff thats supposed to help your sinuses and immune system. normally i like tea, but this stuff cant really even be called tea, its so gross.

yeah other than that my day has been okay....except my friends made me take a spelling test at lunch....i'm a really bad speller, so she decied i needed some practice. unfortunatly she had to pick some really hard words :(.....but somehow in elementry school i remember they let us study our words before taking a test. :)

and hopefully it will rain really soon, but hopefully that somtime soon is tomorrow so i can enjoy it during the day. :)

ahhhh i think i'm getting sick, or i'm allergic to my cat. i was fine all day until i got home. after being in my room, around my cat, for like 10 min. i started sneezing like crazy and now i cant breath through my nose :( ug! maybe if i go sleep i'll wake up compleatly fine....i can hope right?

oh, and it lookes like its going to rain! no, really the clouds are moving in...i hope. it smells like rain too, even though i cant smell..........hmmm, how does that work?......dont ask its all very complex and difficult to understand. did i just answer my own question? i did, great now i'm having a conversation with myself while i'm typing....wow i just sneezed 7 times in a row! that's a record for me. okay this is gettin hard for me to follow, and i'm the one typing it! the excess amount of homework is really going to my head. well i better go finish and stop procrastinating so i can go to bed early. i have to be at school at 7:30 tomorrow to finish my ceramics projects...fun stuff! 3 projects in 2 days! yikes! i better do some speedy throwing.

so i just threw my calculator on the roof...accidentally of course!

so apparently my uncle, from utah, is coming to stay with us tonight. i had no idea until my mom told my we needed yougurt for him(i still dont know why he needs yougurt) and sent me into pavillions to go get some. so after locating the yogurt, with help, :) i came home and discovered that i had granola bar crumbs all over the bottom of my backpack. i took everything out, so i thought. being the somewhat lazy person i am, i didn't want to walk all the way downstairs to empty it out. so i opened my sliding door and dumped them out on the roof. it turns out my calculator was still in my backpack and it fell out. it slid all the way down the roof and then fell off. luckily it landed in the planter box and wasnt harmed. so much for not having to go back downstairs. wow, it even suprises me how dumb i can be sometimes. :) but i know you all love me anyway right? :)

well its been a great day! and getting better.....now i'm off to play tennis! :)

school today! it definatly wasn't my best morining. i acctually woke up an hour later that i should have, but oh well. i still made it on time without my books. since i was running late and knew the bell had rung, i ran to my locker. i kneeled down (i have a bottom locker) and all i could think was "oh shoot! what is my combo?!" seriously i didn't know my locker combonation!....two weeks off and everything leaves me..... i tried everything i thought it might be, but finally gave up and ran top speed to 1st period, which is in hall C (my locker is in hall B). i did make it like 20 seconds before the bell rang, but i didnt have any of my books. i just kept hopeing that none of my teachers would ask me why i didnt have them. how stupid would i sound saying "i dont remember my locker combonation"? although no one needed to ask me because in second period it was anounced. if any of you know shakira keller, and know her personality....crazy yet fun, anyway i sit next to her in 2nd period biology. mr tamminga says okay get out your books and i was like "can i share with you?" shakira goes "sure, where's your book". i told her i couldn't get it because i forgot my combo. she was like "you fogot your combo! i'm going to tell everyone!" i was like sure whatever. then she practically yells "hey everybody. danielle forgot her locker combonation!" i was just sitting there thinking "great really great." mr tamminga just laughed and looked at us like we were crazy. i was just shocked that she just yelled that to the whole class. i didn't really care though. i finally had to go to the office at break and ask them what it was.

but yeah really great way to start school. huh?

ba da dum da dum dum dum da dum da da dum....

so today at barns and nobel. i walked in and went downstairs while my mom looked at life lesson books. i was just walking along minding my own buisness when some guy starts staring at me. pretty creepy so i walked away down another isle and the next thing i know the whole book shelf is coming down on top of this old lady....being the heroic person i am.....i jumped and pushed her out of the way, saving her from the terrible fate of being crushed by books. the guy that had been staring, had pushed the whole shelf over and then made a run for it. the store went into lock down mode and then someone called the police. the guy turned out to be a prision escapee and they took him back off to jail. i was awarded 500$ for my efforts in saving the old woman.........sooooo anyone still believing this? good. i hope you arn't. cause i'm totally kidding about the whole thing. nothing remotely like that has ever happened to me, nor do i want it to.

i did go to barns and nobel today though. however, all that i did was walk around looking at books and trying to figure out what i wanted to read. my mom convinced me to try a classic, so i got Pride and Prejudice by jane austen. i've heard its good, but it is a classic.....meaning long and hard to follow. no it probably wont be that bad....if i can sit there and read 1,024 pages of Gone With the Wind i'm pretty sure i can handle it. :)

yeah so thats about all i did enjoy the last day of christmas break tomorrow! :)

so my first time to the getty.... i thought it was definatly one of the better art museums i have been to. my friend, cristina, and i went so we could do our museum visit project for photography. oh, a recomendation: bring a jacket!! since i forgot mine and all her's were being washed neither of us had one, and paid dearly for it.....it was freeeeeeezzzzzzzing. it is especially not good when you must stand in a really long line for a shuttle bus to take you up and down the hill.....
anyway we went into the photography exhibit called "where we live" it had some really cool photographs in the collection. they were just fun to look at and think about what the photographer was trying to capture. after, we went to the cafe to get lunch which, as expected at a museum that doesnt charge admissoin fees, was on the expensive side. i mean who charges $8 for a bowl of spaghetti? well it could have been worse i guess. after i got home though, exhaustion hit me. i was soooo tired that i acctually took a nap....which is weird for me. i never take naps! ever! yeah so now fun's over, i have to acctually go write the paper on the museum now.....ug!

my experiance at the griffith observatory :}

i know i just posted like half and hour ago but i wanted to tell what i did today and i had temporarily lost my camera....it fell out of my pocket in the car.....anyway, i went to the griffith observatory up in L.A. it was pretty cool. except for their attempt to make a funny educational video. as some of you might know the observatory just reopened after a four year renovation and expansion project. they had a documentary on the project in the leonard nimoy event horizon theater, and we decided to go watch it. apparently the theater is a great place for "necking" as the lady on the screen told us. my friend, august, and i looked at eachother and immediately began cracking up in the back row and scooting farther away from eachother. then the guy goes on to say how you need to wash your hands every 5 min. in order to avoid catching a disease like his, whatever that was. we were so lost and pretty much laughed through the whole thing. the view was pretty awsome from up there though. after we left L.A. we went and stopped for dinner at bake and broil, where our waiter had absolutly no clue what the menu had on it.....he was funny though. then somehow we got on the subject of how the dishes looked like fiesta ware and how some fiesta ware that was made before 1931 ,or something, can be radio active.....weird i know the conversation as well as the subject.

a friendly letter

when i got home today i saw that i had a letter addressed to me in our pile of mail. it was from one of our japanese exchage students that we hosted over the summer. i thougt it was really nice of her to write a letter saying happy new year to me but i dont really understand what she is trying to say.

this is what she wrote:

dear host family

a happy new year!!
how are you all today? i am cheerful. i was taken care of in last summer. please come to japan to play if good. paper entering inside is a relative and paper for a letter my friend thing of a post card for new year holidays.

i thougt that was really nice of her and also i think it's cute the way she talks, because she has only had 2 years of english. i dont think she ment to say "relative" because the other paper is a little asian cartoon charecter....cute though! i think i will write her back sometime soon. if anybody thinks they know what she is saying feel free to share your opinion.....maybe its just me.

getting that letter made my day :)


oh, and also. IT'S RAINGING!!!! YIPPY!!! that makes me want to sing! :0

tennis tennis tennis!

today wasnt too bad because it started out with TENNIS!!! yippy. yup yup i woke up and then went and played tennis from 9:00 to noon. 3hrs. yup yup exciting stuff! i mean, how can your day go too badly wrong after that? kinda dull though. i went to rubys for dinner yum! i feel like such a rebel....ha ha ha. i was supposed to go to my driving class at 6:30 but instead i ditched and went out to dinner. ooooohhh crossing over to the dark side....hmmmm the only down side is now i have to make the class up later. *sigh* oh well, what a difficult life i lead eh? (fyi that was sarcasm) well i'm going to go read a book or something. go to bed early, ya know? i havent been on my regular sleeping schedual since christmas break started....better start getting back in routine for school. ug i dont even want to think about school!

so the ants arn't gone yet....i dont even know what they are after!!! i have no food of any sort in my bathroom, closet, or room!!! ug i hate ants!!! stupid little vermin.

on a happier note i went out to lunch with my friends today and then to golden spoon ummmm! that was fun. then i came home and played tennis yippy!!! i love tennis (if you didnt already know that or haden't figured it out).....i also have a head ache right now and am not as coherent as i should be to type a post.....this should explain all the randomness of my subjects...but anyway....i cant believe its already tue. i mean we only have like wed. thurs. fri. sat. sun. (5 days) left of break :( and i havent even opened my back pack since friday the 22 but hey at least i'm not stressing. and, as you might have noticed, by my title, i have the annoying elomo song stuck in my head from my sisters sesame st. videos!

okay thats all for now i'm going to go watch a movie, take some advil, and relax to get rid of the throbbing pain in my head.

hello 2007

so i don't mean to complain or anything but....so far my 2007 has not been going well. or at least not the morning part. i woke up to a bathroom full of ants....ewwww......i hate ants!!! they are so pointless and discusting. anyway on a better note, or not so much better,i just got back a little while ago from the rose bowl game. usc vs. michigan. i know what some of you must be thinking "why in the heck would danielle, of all people, go to a football game?" believe me it was not by choice. my step dad got tickets through city council so it was kinda free.....they were really good seats too sixth row up from the field. to bad none of my family really likes football....but yeah i cant stand usc so i rooted "go blue" which wasn't appreicated by my family since my step dad graduated from sc and my step sisters mom works there, but hey i say be your own person. the game was soooooo loooong usc creamed michigan and i was freezing the entire time. not to mention i was soooo tired....still am now that i think about it. but yeah that was my first day of 2007. hope you all had a better one. :)...stupid ants ruin everything....and they wont go away!!!!
